Appearance:

She wears a suit of heavy armor made of spirit particle containg steal. It works to protect her from physical attacks, and prevents her from using all but the most basic amount of spirit energy. As it is destroyed or taken off, her spirit energy, physical strength, and speed will increase.


Lastly, she often rides a hollow horse.


Personality:
Brave: Layth shows no fear in the face of death. All for the one she serves. She is willing to struggle over overwhelming odds at the order of her Mistress. No enemy is to great, or obsticle to hard.

Loyal: All in the name of her Mistress. Despite physical or mental abuse she is willing to fight and die for the one who commands her. Her Mistresses goals become her own, her Mistresses wants and needs are hers. She will follow her orders without question, even at the risk of death.

Honorable: Unlike alot of arrancar, Layth has a tight code of honor she follows:

Self-discipline- Just because you can does not mean you should, only at the word of the Mistress shale a hand ever be raised in violence.

Conquer Overconfidence- those who believe they can not be slain in battle are often the first to go. She shows confidence only in the fact she follows her Mistresses word. Many arrancar believe themselves to be gods, yet history proved they were just as fragile as any human.

Conquer Defeatism- while it slightly contridicts the prior honor code, Layth always assumes she will be able to carry out the will of her Mistress.

Conquer Recklessness- arrancar rarely show self restraint. Recklessness often leads to death, and thereby failure of the Mistresses will. It is best to sit back, when appropriate, and await things to fall in place.

Practice Honesty- Never lie or withhold information, though you can slightly obscure it when times call for it.

Honor Your Promises- If she promises something she will not quit till it is completed to the satisfaction of her Mistress.
These are the basics of her code of honor.

Vain- Layth can be slightly vain in that she refuses to use her ressurection, even in the face of death. She considers it releasing the evil within her, and in giving into it, loses all her honor.

Lonely- This is where Layth gets complicated. She has a need to be needed. She hates herself for what she is, an incarnation of something evil. She feels a great amount of fustration, fear and anger...all steming from a hatred of being an Arrancar. Becoming a knight was how she saw herself redeeming what she was, what she did to become an arrancar, but at the same time she feels a well of deep sorrow for all she had done and will do. It is a reason she hides behind the armor as well, a way to distance herself from her own actions...as if it was not her that did it. This is a side of herself she keeps buried under the pride of serving her Mistress.

Pride- a knights pride is everything. Her pride is being in the service of her Mistress, carrying out her will. She takes pride only in the fact that what she does goes to further the goals of another.

super strength: Her muscles are massively compact using spirit energy. The resolt are virtualy unnoticeble muscles that pack a bone smashing amount of sheer physical force. Her punches and kicks have an impressive 60ton of pressure blow, able to easily shatter concrete and steel, let alone bones. The inhanced muscle is also allows her to swing her weapon with greater power then the normal arrancar.

Enhanced speed and agility: While not being anywhere near the fastest arrancar, she can still move with surprising short burst of speed. That is to say, her arm could be to your left one second, and in less then a blink of an eye be at your right. She can not move with any kind of increased speed for distances greater then about 1/20th of a mile, but for close combat she is plenty fast. (that is when the armor is fully off. With it full she is slow as malases, but as it is destoryed or what not, she increases in speed.) As far as agility, she can seemingly flex and bend in slightly unnatural ways (think total body double joint). The speed she moves normally is about...1/2 that of sonido, and her sonido is about 1.2x the normal rate.

flame cero- Just as the name suggest, a cero mixed with flames fired from her mouth. Just a normal cero with a flame element added.

hierro scales- the thousands of scales on her body each have thier own individual hierro. this makes her a bit tougher to cut then normal, but no where near impenetrable.



History:
Born Rebecca James, she died to bandits at age 9 in England. She spent a long time wandering the country as a earth bound spirit. After a while, she grew to resent the living. Slowly, she was consumed by hatred, anger and sadness. Those feelings became an uncontrollable hunger, and thus she became a hollow.

For about 100 years she wandered over the battlefields of Europe, consuming the souls of the dead soldiers. Soon those souls no longer satisfied that hunger, and so she traveled to hueco mundo for the first time. There she fell deeper into the hunger, slaughtering and consuming other hollow endlessly. Another 100 years passed before she became a free willed gillian. With this evolution of power, came more hunger. She devoured other gillian constantly for about 40 years till she became an Adjuchas. Her new form grew in power, and she had a level of intelegence again. She cold not feel human emotions, but remembered what they felt like. She thought she felt sadness and regret at killing and consuming so many, and hatred over the fact she could not stop herself. This is when she met the person who would change her fate. Mistress. (using Mistress till I find someone to play the character.)

Mistress was a Vasto Lorde hollow, greater intelengence then herself. She took the confused Layth under her wing so to speak, and the two became travelng partners.

About 7 years ago 3 high powered shinigami arrived in hueco mundo. They captured Mistress and Layth, as well as several hundred other hollow. The brown haired one...Aizen...he made a speech about how he would lead the hollow to overthrow the shinigami. He promised to take them to a tier of power they could only dream of, and with the hogyoku he delivered. By force Layths masked was ripped off, a painful process in which she felt her whole body would be obliterated. Human emotiom...real emotion...filled her.

These new beings...Arrancar, were all to willing to follow Aizen. He had given then all power beyond what any could imagine. In the following time, many were killed as the more violent tested out their new strength. Aizen then declaired he had selected 10 to become he elite, his captains. The espada...

Many more were killed in the resulting arguements. When it was all said and done, Mistress was the 10th espada, and Layth her fraccion.

It was now that Layth began to try to redeem her sins as a hollow. She traveled to sight of mass slaughters and prayed for the souls of the hollows she had killed and consumed. Mistress soon worried other might see Layth as weak, and kill her. So she deviced a plan to strengthen her. She told Layth about knights, how they redeemed themselves by serving their lords cause, and that she was a knight as she was her fraccion. She even went as far as making a suit of armor for her, and capturing a hollow horse for her steed. A double sword blade spear finished the outfit. Layth, seeing this as her way to redeem herself, dove right into the whole idea.

It was not long before new arrancar were challenging for espada ranks. Mistress grew tired of the in fighting, and blamed Aizen for it all. She thought Aizen had set all this up as a way to keep the hollows down...have shinigami lording over the Arrancar...using this espada system as a way to amuse themselves. She and Layth...they stood up to Aizen. Layth was truely scared of him...but she followed her Mistress into the battle.

Mistress tried to assassinate Aizen, and was delt a nearly fatal wound. Layth steped in and carried her to safety deep in the forest of menos, where Aizens rule was not as secure as it was topside. There they have been healing and training for the last 7 years. Her Mistresses purpose with Aizen dead? She does not know. She just knows that it is her duty to follow her whereever it may lead.
