Death is a Part of Life

Kaiyasho was sent from the Soul Society to the world of the living to defeat some hollows when I came across the graveyard in Karakura Town.
He stood there silent for almost two hours pondering why a humans body has to rot in a dirty old graveyard, and I realized that it is easily accessible to everyone who would want to come here.

But then he thought, couldn't they put their loved ones in a place more extravagant? And why would someone even consider cremation?? He doesn't know why he thinks this way, he just does.

If someone becomes a soul and can still walk and talk, are they really even dead, sure their former loved ones can't see them, but if they become a soul reaper, they can protect them from harm, especially from hollows. He thinks every soul should become a soul reaper, so that they can protect the ones they love, and not just be an afterthought.

You know that when a loved one dies, the living mourn for a while, sometimes more than others, sometimes it takes years to heal. When the mourning is done, sometimes a memorial is built to remember that loved one, but even with that memorial, sometimes we forget that person, and in some instances, we forget that they even existed. It is sad, yes, but sometimes it just can't be helped.

If they can't remember the dead, then the souls of the dead should never forget the living. We can do that by protecting them from hollows and any other force that would do them harm.

Interaction is nearly impossible, but protection is essential.
