Personality: Pierce is a very fancy guy, he is smart and polite at all times. He respects others but respects himself more. Though he is polite, he can be a smart ass and a jerk.
Pierce likes to study different species and new things that can keep him occupied. As a shinigami, Pierce studied many different abilities, lifeforms, and hollows. You can describe him as a scientist or fancy smart person.

Appearance: Pierce has dark purple hair and always wears a dark black coat suit and glasses.

Zanpakutô Spirit: Pierce's zanpakutou spirit's name is Dante. Dante has the form of nothing more than a giant eye. He dwells in Pierce'es inner world where he sees everything within Pierce.
Dante can see the future and the past of all the world. Though, he cannot speak of these visions because of his ability's limit. Only the one he sees can be told their future.

Sealed Zanpakutô : Pierce's zanpakutou looks like a normal blade except it's hilt color is silver and there is a dragon marking going along the blade. It's guard is the shape of a sun with wavy rays.
It is well stabled and is always shiny. At the bottom of the hilt is a gem in the shape of a sun with an eye inside of it's core.




Shikai Description: Pierce's zanpakutou does not ever change in shikai form. It stays completely the same most of the time. Though, when ability is being used, the dragon design on the blade shines silver and moves around the blade really fast.

Pierce's appearance does not change but when in shikai, he can see more than the present.

Shikai Abilities: When in shikai, Pierce can see more than the present. When he looks at his enemy, he can read their soul itself revealing their past and present like a time line, but he can only see so far and can never seek out their death. Pierce may not be able to see the person's death he is reading, but he can see other deaths in the life of his victims. While having a vision, the dragon marking flies around his blade with a flash of silver. When it hits full speed a strange shape reflects of the bright silver light, it's a sun with an eye in it's core. This is the crest of Dante's soul reading power.
Pierce's vision is fast and installs all the information into his head. This allowing him to know everything about his enemy. If the enemy can strike him before the Dante Crest is revealed, then the soul wasn't read and Pierce didn't get any information.
His second ability is very unique and useful for many situations.
Pierce is given the ability to slow down or speed up the velocity of hand to hand attacks from his enemy (not completely stop the hit). Not only that but he can control the velocity of his own moves. This causes extremely intense fights. This makes every hand to hand move risky and almost impossible. Long range moves may work against this character...unless he can control those moves too...


Release: ''Rise from the shadows Dante!''

Bankai Description: In this form, Pierce grows the Dante Crest on both of his palms. They glow silver when his bankai ability is in use and his blade remains the same. His voice changes to a mix of his and Dante's.

Bankai Abilities: In this stage, Pierce can use the two crests on his palms to form a giant emblem in mid air which is the key to open portals to other dimensions. The emblems look like very complex alchemy markings. What he does with this portals is he can summon a certain species of creatures from other dimensions. This gives him a key to open new worlds and more access to new species.
This is useful to unlock portals to take him to new worlds a whole new place. When doing research, Pierce uses his bankai as a ''window'' to see the other world and study it without going into it. This helps him from being killed by unknown creatures.
Move 2: This ability proves everything in the science of sound is a lie. When a human speaks, they vibrate air particles all around them, this makes sound. Pierce proves amazng change to science. In bankai, Pierce does not vibrate air particles....he moves them. He has complete control of switching from vibrating the particles to moving them. But by moving the wind particles, he can cause winds soemtimes even massive winds when he yells. This is from his voice and how he moves the particles all around. Example. You're at a band concert, and the music is moving air particles instead of vibrating them, the mass movement of particles causes winds great enough to blow you over. In this case, Pierce has the ability to make winds of any size depending on his tone of voice.

History/Background: Pierce was very good at his job. He was a shinigami. He was a lieutenant of squad 12 because of his abilities to read the souls and understand their characteristics and feelings. This was very useful for research.
During the time of the creation of bounts, they hired Pierce to study their abilities and their future. Pierce saw their future being crushed but the shinigami and what will happen, but he would not share the vision. All he told them was ''It will end badly for everyone''. The shinigami took this a threat from the bounts, but that was not their only reason to kill almost all of them. Squad 12 was then assigned a new captain when the former captain had left.
It was these times Pierce was more important to the gotei 13. He researched different hollow forms by their past and marked them by levels. He classified each hollow into a different category, this made his pile of notes grow higher and higher. The gotei 13 was very interested in these notes and wanted to look at them, but Pierce refused to show his notes after he discovered a dangerous future. It was then the gotei 13 grew tired of him and removed him from squad 12.
Pierce was angry. His favorite thing to do and they just took it away from him. Before he left he made sure to burn his notes and pack up all his other information. He left nothing behind, no info, no notes, nothing. He just packed up and left the gotei 13 and was never seen again.

Pierce's notes revealed something so dangerous, it would change everything. What Pierce kept hidden was a new evolution of hollows, a new form of the soul eaters. It was the Arrancar.


Roleplay Sample: Pierce giggled as he said the words, ''Bankai..'' he then opened a window to a strange dakr, shadowy world where he began to hover above the area. He began to write notes and look very deeply into each area of the strange world. ''Very interesting'' he laughed. Pierce closed the window and then opened a door to the same world, and with one step at a time he walks into the portal as it closes behind him.
