Akira’s personality is a dull one. He is calm and speaks with a low, husky, monotone voice. It is very rare that he cracks a joke or does not take a situation seriously. Though, he may seem scary, he fights for justice through all perspectives on his side, and is very polite and formal. Because of his wide knowledge of people’s point of views, since he has Iyaxiao, a Zanpakutō which apparently has a multi-personality disorder, he can easily get confused on which path to follow. Due to that fact, many people do not trust him, not that he suggests they should anyway.

Spirit Personality: The personality of Iyaxiao is a strange one. Just like it can change the weather at any time, its personality can change without warning. You could call it an extreme bipolar, or a multi-personality disorder. Either way, the unexpected can happen. With the personality change, the voice changes as well, which is why we cannot give it a gender. (The mask adds on to the complication.) Though, Iyaxiao’s personality can change any minute, most of the time, it has a goofy one. It likes to make fun of its opponents and make them feel like idiots. That is why Akira is not easily frustrated, due to his experience training with Iyaxiao.
Realm: The realm in which Iyaxiao lives in is basically on top of a volcano. Akira is standing on these lava rocks that float on the lava itself, while Iyaxiao could be wherever it likes (on another lava rock, within the lava, in the air, etc.). Though, the scenery starts off on top of a volcano, it can easily change with Iyaxiao’s weather changing abilities. It can go from being on top of a volcano to being on top of a snow top mountain to the deep floor of the ocean, etc.

Shikai Powers: Iyaxiao is able to control any unnatural weather, such as thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, volcanic eruption, lunar eclipse, hail, hot springs, etc. The trident-like end is where Akira controls the direction of his attacks and the fin-like end is where he commands what the attacks should be.

[History]
Akira’s past is not a known one to many, for he does not like to talk about it. He was raised in a normal family with two parents and a brother. His mother succumbed to illness and died when he was 11. His father was unable to support the two boys by himself and gave them away to separate orphanages. Akira never saw his father or his brother again. As the years passed, he slowly became depressed and started considering suicide. No one wanted to adopt an older boy, so he never was able to leave the orphanage until the age of 18.
Finally, when they let him go, he lived on the street and survived on charitable people who gave him food and money. He would sleep in alleys and wake up in piles of garbage people would dump out their windows, not realizing he was within the shadows. His black hair grew long and his eyes turned red from lack of sleep. He was skinny, but muscular, due to the life he was living.
On the day of his human death a year later, he was walking around the corner of a building and quickly came to realize he was staring down the barrel of a gun. He was confused as the man told him to get on his knees and put his hands in the air. As he did so, he noticed the bag the man was carrying as it jingled with something within, supposedly coins, probably from a bank. His intuition immediately was to steal the bag from the man and call the cops. He was hoping a bystander would call the cops for him, as the scene had more attention now. People were still as the man threatened to shoot Akira if anyone did anything suspicious. Out of nowhere, a clueless boy, around the age of 11 rode through the street on his scooter. The man suddenly put his gun away from Akira’s head and aimed for the little boy, and Akira, without thinking, got in the way. He is unable to know what happened after that.
As his soul passed onto the Soul Society, he had issues dealing with the fact that he was still alive. He was able to join the Gotei 13 almost immediately because of his experience in survival, plus the fact that he sacrificed his life for another. For these qualities, he was accepted into the Noble Kuchiki Family. He trained almost everyday to get his mind off of his suicidal thoughts, crumbled by the second chance of life, and eventually became the fifth seat of squad 6.
Since then, he has continued his training pattern with his determination to become strong enough to impress his "brother" Byakuya Kuchiki, become an inspiration for his "sister" Rukia Kuchiki, and keep the Kuchiki Family's traditional honor afloat. A new hope has been brought into his life, and he is no longer suicidal, but hopeful.
