Research in the Dark

A loud creaking noise could be heard in the old research facility as one of the main entrance doors were being opened. Stepping inside, a tall figure looked around, the inside completely pitch black. Suddenly, the figure snapped it's fingers, and the whole place lit up. Alfons, the tall figure, stood there, grinning to himself. Recently, he had just set up a power source to run only the lights and locks of Ender's old research facility. Although Alfons had his own, newer lab to work at, he was very interested to see if he could find anything left behind by Ender.

Slowly, Alfons began to walk deeper into the old facility, a sense of arrogance in his step. Although Alfons always walked at a slow pace like this, as if he was more important than the rest of the world around him, he was doing so today as to not miss any potential discoveries. As Alfons continued his slow pace, he looked all around the now dilapidated facility. Although he did not know weather or not he was even allowed in here, Alfons did not care; all he cared about was his own research.

Grinning, Alfons was able to tell that someone was approaching him, but because they were hiding their spiritual pressure, he could not tell who. Turning around, he waited to see that the person was none other than Kuro, the leader of Kin's personal guard. Grinning, he looked at the other man listening to what he had to say. "Oh, I would say not, to fully conduct my research, I must come explore this place myself" he said in his German accent. As always, Alfons preferred to collect his data first hand, and took pride in that as it's one of the many reasons why he was such a genius.

Although Kuro was his ally and stronger than him, he would still be able to feel the presence of Fear from Alfons while he was around him. Turning back around, Alfons continued his slow pace further into Ender's old research facility, motioning for Kuro to follow him. "So, why have you been looking for me, Kuro Mikoto?" he asked, a mild amount of curiosity along with his German accent in his tone. Smiling his wicked smile, he turned around to face Kuro "It must be something of importance, seeing as you've come to me personally."

As Kuro told Alfons what he wanted, all he could do was laugh "Heh, hollows, arrancar? that is child's play, I could do that with my eyes closed." This was true, as long before he had joined Kin, he had created an artificial hollow that went on to become an arrancar and then an espada. Grinning, he turned to face Kuro "All it takes to create a good artificial hollow is the right amount of souls to use" he said in his German accent "That's why when the human's were busy in their war, I took the opportunity to harvest the souls in those concentration camps." Grinning, Alfons recalled creating his first artificial hollow "Yes, those humans were quite good at finding test subjects for me."

With a small laugh, Alfons turned back around towards the door. "Oh, but to make one of an espada's level, you would need a few hundred thousand good souls, so I'll have to scale it down a bit to make multiples." With that said, he opened the door and entered the next room. As he looked around, he once again laughed "Hah, if this was all Ender was able to accomplish then it seems that my trip here was in vain." Everything that was in this room Alfons had already made, and made much better than Ender had done. It was almost embarrassing to see such pitiful subjects.
