A captain's time off

Roiben was a rarity among captains. While most spent their time in their offices, when his work was done, Roiben left his office immediately. He hated being comfined to his office, it felt like a special kind of hell. It was normally sunny and beautiful, and he enjoyed the weather. He had been walking through rukongai, on his way to the outskirts. It was were he liked to spend much of his time, just thinking to himself. He wasn't very familiar with many of the captains. Since his return to the soul society, not many of the captains of his day were still around. Kinda made him wonder were the others went to.

Roiben walked over to his usual spot, the forest on the outer edge of rukongai. He jumped into his usual tree, which he built his own hangout place in. He sat down and picked up his guitar, which he had purchased in the real world one day, and began to play some riffs on it. He hadn't started playing too long ago, but he was already pretty good at it. He wanted to form the seireitei's first metal band, but didn't really know anyone who could join it.

Roiben sensed reiatsu, and quit playing his guitar. He jumped into a tree a few feet away, not wanting his hideout to be discovered, and jumped out of the tree. Still, he saw no one. Good. His hideout was safe still.

::Tsubine yawned. He was unusual among the captains, as he never wore his Haori, or even his Shihakushō other than in formal meetings among the other captains. Instead he wore a custom-made jacket that was black with crimson lining on the inside. The collar was always turned up, and the jacket had two why rectangles on the sides of the waist. However, the main thing that was off about Tsubine was his yellow scarf. The scarf was made out of the same material and by the same person that made Byakuya's. He kept his around his neck with one end "fluffing" out.

He never fixed his hair when he woke up, stating It's too much of a hassle. Tsubine's hair was grey, as it had been since birth. He never shaved completely, giving him a rough, scruffy look.

He stepped out of his office, grabbing Tsume Ude as he went. He strapped the black cloth scabbard to his back and walked out. Why? He wanted to take a break and get out of the confinements of his office.::

"Yuki, I'm heading out."

::His lieutenant, Yukiko, was like a little sister to him, and they treated each other like they were siblings. Hell, at times she'd call Tsubine "Tsu-nichan." She nodded and Tsubine disappeared in a flicker. He arrived in the forest moments later.

He stretched and started to walk until he felt a familiar reitsu. He stopped and grabbed the handle of Tsume Ude. He continued walking and increased his grip, his eyes scanning side to side. When he reached a clearing, he saw someone in a tree. It was pure luck he recognized the guitar in his hand""

"Roiben, seems like you took a walk too, eh?"

"Yeah, you know how I hate being in my office." It was just Tsubine, good. Tsubine was one of the few people that actually was a captain in his day. Tsubine was someone he trusted and could consider a friend.

"Things have been relatively peaceful lately." A smile crept on his face. "Kinda makes you wonder what kinda shit is gonna come, since we've been given all this time of peace. Whatever it is... Roiben put down his guitar, and looked Tsu in the eyes. [color=blue]"is not gonna be pretty. I don't think many of the others would believe me, but they haven't seen what we have."[color]
